Genuine British Royal Navy Blue Stable belt with Metal Slide Buckle
The Stable belts were worn by cavalrymen in the working dress they used for cleaning stables and tending to their horses, but in the 1950`s they spread to all branches of the armed forces, adding a splash of colour and individuality to the drab working uniforms.
It's not uncommon for the sailor to have written their name on the inside of the belt.
