About the Sam Browne

The Sam Browne is the officer's leather belt with a cross strap over the right shoulder, named after General Sir Sam Browne, who designed it in the 1800s after losing his left arm. It is still worn with service dress today.

In this range: complete belts with cross straps, belts without cross straps, women's sizes, cross straps on their own, brass, chrome and nickel buckles, D-rings and fittings, including Hobson of London pieces. Belts are sized by number or waist, given on each listing. Email us at sales@jungleuk.com if you need a matching part.
