Genuine Vintage British Army Inspectorate of Stores Metal Badge Sample Card 1951

Description:

Chrome plated 3 chevron rank badge complete with brass plate

The card is dated 1951 and is the pattern that would have been used for Kings Crown uniforms onwards

The card features official inspection seal on the rear.

It has been updated with a NSN 8455-99-127-1545 which is still in use today

This will have been a sample that would be sent to manufacturers to produce the same regulation standard badge.

A great piece of history for collectors and vintage uniform insignia.

The badge itself is approximately 1 ¾ "

The card measures 9 x 5" approximately
