This is a small badge to be worn on a medal ribbon.

The card is dated 1947 and is the pattern that would have been used for Kings Crown uniform medal ribbons

The card features official inspection seals on the rear.

It has been updated with a NSN 8455-99-973-1003 which is now obsolete

This will have been a sample that would be sent to manufacturers to produce the same regulation standard badge.

A great piece of history for collectors and vintage uniform and medal ribbons insignia.

The badge itself is approximately 0.33"

The card measures 9 x 5" approximately
