Genuine Vintage British Army Inspectorate of Stores Metal Badge Sample Card 1971

Duke of Lancaster own yeomanry

The card is dated 1971 and is the pattern that would have been used for Kings Crown service caps etc

The card features official inspection seal on the rear.

It has been updated with a NSN 8455-99-973-9505 which is now obsolete

This will have been a sample that would be sent to manufacturers to produce the same regulation standard badge.

A great piece of history for collectors and vintage dress hats or berets insignia.

The badge itself is approximately 4cm

The card measures 21 x 12cm approximately
