A shoe/boot tree is a device approximating the shape of a foot that is placed inside a shoe to preserve its shape, stop it from developing creases and thereby extend the life of the shoe.
Perhaps more important than maintaining the shape, shoe trees also play a crucial part in wicking away moisture caused by sweat - a major cause of lining rot and leather degradation. This is especially important when shoes are worn without socks or in high physical activities.
These are a great addition to anyone who owns and cherishes vintage footwear.
Although some shades may differ they will be the same size and a left and right tree.
These are 1960s or 1970s pattern BW German military issue.
Some may have surface rust present but all threads are tests and working
All metal and wood construction, made to last.
