Rocker switch is marked with ‘3M' and ‘CAE' for easy
switching between Closed Mode and Open Mode
In Closed Mode the earplug acts as a conventional earplug
offering protection against steady state and peak impulse noise
Offers high attenuation against peak impulse noise- can be
used up to 160dB peak
Specially designed soft retainer helps ensure the ear plug remains
seated inside the ear canal
Easy to wash and clean
3M™ Combat Arms Reusable Earplugs (CAE) Version 4.1 are designed for insertion into the ear canal to help reduce exposure to hazardous noise including steady state and peak noise. It features a special acoustical filter that lets lower level sound through with relatively little noise reduction for greater situational awareness, and provides increasing amount of peak noise reduction as sound levels increases above 110 dB.
